Sanddollar is a small, friendly complex consisting of three buildings, with 12 units in each building. All three buildings are direct Gulf front units with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico on 800’ of beach frontage. Sanddollar has lushly landscaped grounds on 7 acres. The large heated swimming pool has many lounge chairs available for your use and a nearby pool house with bathrooms.

There are three tennis courts and a conveniently located barbecue area with four gas grills.

Sanddollar is located at 1785 Middle Gulf Drive and is very accessible to the causeway, shopping, and restaurants. Our complex is located close to Beachview Golf Course, Gulfside City Park, and the network of bike paths. There is an extensive bike path system to allow leisurely exploration of the island.

Sanddollar is located on one of the finest shelling beaches in the world. Walking on the white sand beach is a favorite activity of many shell collectors. Shells and interesting sea life can be found year round. The beach is very safe for all. The water deepens very gradually. An adult can walk out 100 to 200 yards, depending on the tide, before the water is up to your shoulders.

The island of Sanibel is a very laid-back vacation spot. You may dress casually or you may want to bring your sport coat and dressy dresses for a really up-scale restaurant. Sanibel has something for everyone. It all depends on you and your mood.

There are many interesting sites to visit on the island.
  • The Ding Darling Refuge is a wonderful place to see birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
  • The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to sea shells.
  • If you enjoy the flavor of the past, the Historical Village is another interesting site to put on your “must see list.”

Sanibel is a great place to vacation. Whether you're young or young-at-heart, there is a lot to do and it is a great place to relax. Bring your family and friends.
